Yamantaka is a deity in Tibetan Buddhism who is often depicted as a fierce manifestation of the bodhisattva Manjushri, the embodiment of wisdom. The name Yamantaka literally means "terminator of death" or "conqueror of death".
Yamantaka is considered to be a wrathful deity who represents the power of compassion that destroys ignorance and negativity. The deity is often depicted with multiple heads, arms, and legs, and is adorned with a crown of skulls and a necklace of severed heads.
The benefit of that is if we do Yamantaka's practice, we can overcome our inner, real, self-grasping anger. Anger that arises from self-grasping, can be reduced and can be destroyed, can be purified. Hence, that's very important. It helps to overcome our inner, real, self-grasping anger.
