The Johkang Dzi is a batch or category of Dzi named after the famous temple due to the Dzi beads was found around Johkang Temple and around the Central of Tibet, including Lhasa, Zetang and Shigatse.

Johkang Temple or known as the “Temple of Lord” is considered as the most sacred site. Many renowned Buddhist teachers have taught and stayed here. This category of Dzi is the favorite of the people in that whole area.
